16.04.2021 г. прошло заседание международного онлайн-семинара «Искусственные общества и информационные технологии», посвященное докладу Jürgen Scheffran (Research Group Climate Change and Security, Institute of Geography, University of Hamburg, Германия).
Тема доклада: Agent-Based Modeling of Environmental Conflict and Cooperation
Краткая аннотация: Using complexity science for the analysis of social interactions, agent-based modeling is presented as a tool for assessing conflicts and for finding pathways to conflict resolution and cooperation. An integrative framework is presented for approaching conflict and cooperation as complex adaptive systems, connecting system dynamics, agent-based modeling, evolutionary game theory, viability theory and social network analysis. The VIABLE model framework (Values and Investments from Agent-Based interaction and Learning in Environmental systems) allows to model advanced facets of conflicts - including institution building, coalition formation, adaptive learning, and the potential for future conflict. Various applications in environmental and conflict research are presented (climate change, disaster management, fishery, renewable energy, mobility, etc.), and identify viable and cooperative strategies for conflict resolution.
В заседании приняли участие представители России (ЦЭМИ РАН, МГУ, Санкт-Петербургский политехнический университет Петра Великого, Уфимский научный центр РАН), Китайской народной республики (Шанхайская компания «Тяньцзин»), Бразилии (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Federal University of Juiz de Fora), Германии (Institute of Geography, University of Hamburg) и Казахстана (Евразийский национальный университет им. Л. Н. Гумилева, Нур-Султан).
